Q4 2022 Update – Life made EC

Happy holidays and almost 2023! For our last quarterly update of 2022, I wanted to share some highlights from another incredible year–from exciting EC firsts to launching more products in more stores, voices from our community, and all the ways your support has enabled us to keep giving back.

New Products, Partnerships, and EC Firsts

This year we introduced innovative, new planners and highly requested organizational products to the market, including an expanded LifePlanner™ collection with more new designs, an all-new “compact vertical” planner layout, and our first-ever special edition LifePlanners with Hello Kitty and EttaVee, featuring their respective artwork throughout.

In addition to our first co-branded LifePlanners, we launched our first collection of co-branded Academic Planners featuring special edition Star Wars designs (cover to cover), new family organizer books, new collections of custom bags and acrylic calendars, and so much more. You can view our full line at erincondren.com.

I’m also proud to share that among our new partnerships this year, NBC Universal gave our Jurassic World collection their Product of the Year Award for stationery and gifts!

Retail Partners Expansion

This year our customers have been able to find more of their favorite Erin Condren products in more stores. Just this quarter we launched for the first time at The Container Store, added four new LifePlanners to our Barnes & Noble assortment, and expanded our Target offering, including the Oasis LifePlanner from our 2021 Black History Month collection featuring artwork from Melissa Koby

We love working with Melissa Koby and are so happy to see her beautiful designs launched in Target! And so is she! Here’s what she had to say about it:

Seeing something I created on a Target shelf was THE dream. I felt so much pride and I loved that my family was so proud of me too. Target is the one place we all love to go to, so this opportunity felt like the biggest accomplishment for me

Giving Back

With your help, to date EC has given back over $144K via our BCRF collections, $225K via our Heritage and Awareness Months collections, $420K via Community Outreach, and more via grants, product and monetary donations, and more, totaling over $1M (and counting)!

This year we also held our first-ever Small Business Grant at the 2022 GO Wild Planner Conference as well as our first Educators Grant to help teachers in need of additional school supplies, books, and technology. We also partnered with ID.me to offer our very first special discounts for teachers, students, and military families. And we conducted an Amazon Wish List Fulfillment campaign to help crowdsource more back-to-school supplies for teachers.

Here are a few testimonials from this quarter that I wanted to share with you:

With your [2022] gift, you have enabled 300 hours of the world’s most promising breast cancer research. . . . On behalf of the patients who are living with breast cancer, the researchers who seek answers to life-changing questions, the healthcare workers who bring the benefits of research to the bedside every day, and all of us at BCRF—thank you for your commitment to ending breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF)

Receiving the Erin Condren Educators Grant gave me the resources to begin turning my classroom into a ‘Thinking Classroom’ where student’s work and ideas are the focus of instruction. Ever since adding the new whiteboards to the classroom, students have been eager to get up and write their ideas on the boards and work with their classmates. I am excited to continue using the grant to add more non-permanent workspaces for students to demonstrate their brilliant ideas. Thank you!

I was absolutely stunned and in awe when items from my Amazon teacher wish list started rolling in this Fall!! Nothing like that has ever happened to me personally or professionally, so to think about how every single item was going to impact my students in a positive way was completely overwhelming. From durable reading bags and small group instructional tools to positive reinforcement items and so much more, each and every item is making a difference in my classroom. I could not be more grateful for the generosity and kindness the Erin Condren brand has shown me and my students.

This truly has been a bustling year, and we’re ending it strong as we plan for a new year full of new opportunities, new product innovations, new ways to grow, give back, and more.

From our EC family to yours, warm wishes and Happy New Year!
